School reopens for third term
The school reopened on 20th April, 2026 for the third term of the 2025/2026 academic session. On the reopening day, students were seen in large numbers exchanging pleasantries with one another, appearing refreshed after the Easter break.
Thereafter, the students tidied up their classrooms in preparation for learning activities.
School and neighbouring communities in total blackout
The windstorm that swept across the host communities of the school, precisely Ekuma and Central, brought down no fewer than 20 electric poles.
The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, 28 April, has plunged the school and the neighbouring communities into total blackout. The fallen poles still occupy about half of the tarred road, thereby narrowing the portion accessible to road users and posing a serious hazard.
A secondary school student bereave of his mother
On the 26 April, 2026, the students and pupils paid a condolence visit to a bereaved student of the school. Master Isimah Destiny was bereaved of his mother after a brief illness. The family warmly received the students, pupils, and staff who paid the visit and expressed their appreciation for the show of support and comfort.

At the residence of Mr. Nemeyeke, his wife expressed her gratitude for the visit, while his daughter, Miss Emmanuella Nemeyeke, a pupil of the school, was seen in a sober mood.
