Note:

i) Cognitive/Placement Examination - Saturday, 23rd May, 2026

ii) Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) - Monday, 1st To Friday, 5th June, 2026.

iii) Meetings of Parents Teachers Association (PTA) and School Term Achievement Review (STAR) by School Based Management Committee(SBMC) are mandatory and shall hold in ALL Schools during the mid term breaks and last day of each term respectively.

iv) All national Public Holidays that fall within the calendar period are to be observed subject Federal Government announcement.

v) Schools operating international curriculum and /or schools that have genuine reason(s) to close on or before the stipulated dates should seek approval from the Ministry of Primary Education.

vi) Weekly club and sports activities as well as Annual School inter-house Sports Competitions are mandatory. The timing is at the discretion of schools.
