Education Board Commission visits on inspection

On the 6th of November, two delegates from the Catholic Diocese of Issele-Uku Education Board visited the school for an official inspection. The delegation, led by Mr. Peter Efe, arrived at approximately 9:45 a.m. Upon arrival, they conducted a thorough inspection of the classrooms and examined various school records.

Following their review, the team held a brief meeting with the staff. During the discussion, they highlighted areas that required improvement and offered guidance on how to address them. They also commended the school and its staff for notable achievements and areas where commendable progress had been made.

Mr. Michael Agborh and wife live at the school

It was a moment of excitement and pleasant surprise as Mr. Michael Agborh, the anchor of the Code Club through Google Meet, visited the school live and unannounced—appearing in the characteristic manner of Santa Claus with bags and cartons of gifts. The creators, who had only ever seen Mr. Agborh on their screens, were thrilled and could not hide their joy at meeting him in person.

Mr. Agborh, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Lilian Agborh, left an indelible mark on the school through the generous donation of learning materials. Gift items were presented to the school management, Code Club volunteers, and the creators, further adding to the excitement of the day.

2013 set visits with learning materials

On the 10th of November, 2025, the 2013 set, led by Comrade Isioma Blessed, paid a visit to their alma mater. The purpose of the visit was to encourage the younger students to take their studies seriously and to remain committed to their academic pursuits.

During the program, the delegates took turns addressing the students. They emphasized that education is not a scam and further explained that the real deception lies in persuading young people to believe otherwise. Their messages were aimed at motivating the students to stay focused, work hard, and value the long-term benefits of education.

After the sensitization session, the group presented the students with writing materials, including ballpoint pens and customized notebooks, as part of their contribution to support learning. The head girl of the school, Okoh Chioma Beauty appreciated the 2013 set for their kind gestures on behalf of the students.
