End-of-Year/Christmas Party
On 12 December 2025, the school organized an End-of-Year/Christmas party for pupils and students. The event was a colourful gathering themed “Look Your Best and Put on Your Dancing Shoes”, giving learners the opportunity to relax and celebrate after months of academic activities. Pupils and students actively participated in various events lined up for the day, and at the end of the programme, gift items were presented to them

Similarly, on 31 December 2025, the Dr. Isioma and Chief Mrs. Benedicta Okonta Foundation marked the end of the year in grand style. The foundation celebrated its 3rd Annual Year-End Programme at Abavo, with the event held at the late Mrs. Victoria Okowa’s burial site in Okpe.
In attendance were selected primary and secondary schools from the three wards (10, 11, and 12) in Abavo, as well as students from St. Charles College, Abavo. The founders of the foundation emphasized that the programme was aimed at emulating the philanthropic and humanitarian legacy of the late Mrs. Victoria Okowa, mother of Senator Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, the immediate past Governor of Delta State.
At the end of the programme, the convener of the event presented the students with various gift items.
