School embarks on Easter holiday
The school commenced its Easter holiday on 1st April 2026. The break, which lasts for a little over two weeks, is scheduled to end on 20th April 2026. Schools across the state are expected to reopen on that date for the commencement of the third term of the 2025/2026 academic session.
Third term academic calendar released.
Before the vacation, the Catholic Diocese of Issele-Uku released the academic calendar for the third term of the academic session. According to the calendar, the term will run until Friday, 24th July, covering a period of three months. The term will conclude with a graduation ceremony.
Mr. Ijeoma buries father
Mr. Ijeoma Uwuigbe, a staff member of the school, was surrounded by colleagues, friends, and family on 28th March 2026 as he hosted guests following the demise of his father, Mr. Alexander, earlier this year.
Mr. Okoh Johnbull onyekachukwu aka Moore, buries mother
In the same vein, Mr. Johnbull Onyekachukwu, also known as Moore, laid his mother, Mrs. Victoria Aviaola Okoh, to rest on 2nd April 2026. The burial ceremony was well attended by members of the school staff in large numbers.
lIFE-ND set to roll out another of their project programmes in the school.
The LIFE-ND facilitators visited the school on Friday, 27th March 2026. The team, led by Mr. Benson Omorodion, enlightened the students on the importance of “going green,” which involves planting and maintaining trees and plants in our surroundings to help cushion the effects of pollution and promote longevity.
They also announced that the school has been selected as one of the beneficiaries of the “Go Green” project, which will involve planting a significant number of economic trees within the school premises.
