School reopens for first term 2026/2027 academic session

The school on 14th September, 2026 began a new academic session after a long break. On the day of resumption, students and teachers were seen in high spirit looking refreshed and exchanging pleasantries with one another. The classes were tidied up by the students while teachers took turns to teach them.

1st staff meeting held for the term

The first staff meeting of the term was held on 17th September 2026. The meeting, which was presided over by the Principal of the school, Rev. Fr. Victor Ofili, commenced at about 10:00 a.m. with an opening prayer led by the Principal.

After the prayer, the Principal welcomed all members of staff back to school and expressed his appreciation for their commitment and dedication. He also introduced four new teachers who had joined the school, namely: Rev. Sr. Helen Okonkwo, Rev. Sr. Patricia Enya, Rev. Sr. Jacinta Chidinma,

and Bro. Disi John.

The Principal further highlighted the tasks and responsibilities ahead for the new academic session. He encouraged all members of staff to remain diligent, committed, and proactive in the discharge of their duties, stressing the need for teamwork and dedication towards achieving the goals of the school.

Orientation held for both new and stale students

 An orientation programme was organized for the students of the school on Wednesday, 23rd September 2026. Various teachers served as resource persons, taking turns to educate the students on the dos and don’ts of the school and to familiarize them with the rules and regulations guiding the school environment.

The programme also emphasized the importance of effective time management, punctuality, personal hygiene, neatness, discipline, and good conduct. Students were encouraged to develop responsible habits and to contribute positively to maintaining a safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment for the general well-being of all students.
